    installing RPM files on Mandrake 10 Views: 3286

    How would i install all the RPMS of Open Office on Mandrake 10?

    I apologize, I've never used Mandrake 10, so maybe someone can help me out here.



    I think you use the urpmi command to install them, but you might want to look for a package manager if you are using the GUI interface like KDE, or Gnome.

    Here are some other sites which I hope can help:

    Your supposed to get Installation and setup guides here, but I can see it's not working. Maybe if you still can't get any info, you could try contacting there support and letting them know they have some dead links. I Hope this helps (^_^)

    I don't think you will find Mandrake 10 specific Openoffice 2.0 RPMs. Here are the instructions for using the std RPMs from Openoffice.org. http://download.openoffice.org/2.0.0/instructions.html#linux

    If you are a club member they appear to be available, but I would expect it is only for newer releases of the distro.
